How to handle communication with your customers

Customer picks up order inside.

  • The restaurant can set up a custom text message that gets automatically sent to the customer once their order is fulfilled (marked as complete on their GoTab order display system tablet). See below:
 

The restaurant brings food out to the customer.

  • We would suggest setting up the order confirmation text to say, "Your order has been confirmed with location_name via GoTab. Please reply to this text message with a description of your car once you have arrived and we will bring your order to you. Link to your receipt: ." Once the customer has replied, their message will chime on their tablet with a new message.
